  • 1 & 1⁄2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese (divided)
  • 3 large eggs (lightly beaten)
  • 1/2 cup butter (melted)
  • 3/4 cup almond milk

Instructions:

    1. Preheat your oven to 425Β°F.
    2. Add 1 tablespoon of butter to a 10-inch oven-proof skillet and place it in the oven to melt.
    3. In a large bowl, whisk together almond flour, flax seed meal, baking powder, salt, and 1 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese.
    4. Stir in the eggs, melted butter, and almond milk until thoroughly combined.
    5. Remove the hot skillet from the oven (remember to use your oven mitts), and swirl the butter to coat the sides.
    6. Pour the batter into the pan and smooth the top. Sprinkle with the remaining 1⁄2 cup of cheddar.
    7. Bake for 16 to 20 minutes, or until the bread is browned around the edges and set through the middle. The cheese on top should be nicely browned.
    8. Remove and let it cool for 15 minutes.
