- 3/4 cup almond milk

- Add 1 tablespoon of butter to a 10-inch oven-proof skillet and place it in the oven to melt.
- In a large bowl, whisk together almond flour, flax seed meal, baking powder, salt, and 1 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Stir in the eggs, melted butter, and almond milk until thoroughly combined.
- Remove the hot skillet from the oven (remember to use your oven mitts), and swirl the butter to coat the sides.
- Pour the batter into the pan and smooth the top. Sprinkle with the remaining 1β2 cup of cheddar.
- Bake for 16 to 20 minutes, or until the bread is browned around the edges and set through the middle. The cheese on top should be nicely browned.
- Remove and let it cool for 15 minutes.
