THE MADCAP MARGARITA

The perfect complement to protein-packed tacos, this south-of-the-border favorite is the stuff of low-carb legend. Without the Triple Sec and Cointreau, it’s sugar-free AND flavor-filled, whether you prefer your margarita frozen or on the rocks. Oh, and the name’s cute, too. Cooking at home? Add this easy low-carb cocktail recipe to your keto collection, invite a few friends over, and whip up a round. We’ll toast to that.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 ½ ounces tequila

  • ¼ cup water

  • 2 tablespoons lime juice

  • ¼ teaspoon orange extract

  • Ice

  • Margarita salt & lime wedge for garnish

Refreshing cocktail with strawberries in glasses with a straw on the table

THE VODKA LACROIX

This tasty sipper is a mix made in Heaven. While most fruit is a no-no on the Ketogenic diet, small amounts of berries are a definite yes, and it’s difficult to turn down fresh strawberries mixed with just the right amount of vodka. More of a spritzer than a cocktail, the Vodka LaCroix is light, refreshing, and ideal for the Keto dieter who’s craving a taste of the good life. Perfect for parties, this easy recipe is one you’ll be craving again and again.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 ½ oz of Cupcake Very Berry Vodka (For an alternative take, mix up the flavor of vodka you choose. Cupcake offers a variety of low-calorie, savory flavors suitable for any palate! This recipe is highly versatile, as you can switch up the LaCroix and berries as well. We recommend a blueberry or raspberry variety!)

  • 1 Can of LaCroix Cúrate Pomme Bayá

  • A handful of fresh strawberries

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Pour ice into a tall cocktail glass, and add in the vodka.

  2. Add the can of LaCroix.

  3. Add the handful of strawberries, and stir until the mixture’s well settled. Enjoy!
