Ingredients
- 3⁄4 cup Almond Flour
- 1⁄3 cup Natvia Icing Mix or your preferred powdered sweetener
- 2 teaspoons Psyllium Husk Powder
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon Cinnamon ground
- 1⁄4 teaspoon Nutmeg ground
- 1 large Egg
- 3 tablespoons Unsalted Butter melted
- 1⁄4 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence
Glaze
- 1⁄3 cup Natvia Icing Mix or your preferred powdered sweetener
- 1 tablespoon Unsalted Butter melted
- 1-2 tablespoon Hot Water
Instructions
- Donuts
- Preheat your oven to 160C320F.
- Place all dry ingredients into a mixing bowl and stir to combine.
- Add the wet ingredients and mix well.
- Grease your donut tin with butter and spoon or pipe the batter evenly between 8 holes.
- Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes. The donuts are cooked when they spring back when touched.
- Turn out and leave to cool on a wire rack for 20 minutes.
- Mix together the icing mix and butter, slowly add the hot water until the mixture is of pouring consistency.
- Spoon the glaze over the cooled donuts, sprinkle with cinnamon, if desired.
- Enjoy immediately or leave to set for 5-10 minutes.
